Janine is a wife, mom, executive, retailer, and entrepreneur.

As a qualified CA(SA), Janine completed her articles with PWC & specialised in corporate taxation. After 8 years in the audit & advisory sector, she took the plunge in 2014 and joined her family business as CFO & retailer.

Today, 8 years later, she is looking back and knows it was the best decision ever.

As a wife & mom of two beautiful girls, she has a passion for doing life together with all its ups and downs.

She has a natural ability to run a business while not losing sight of the people around her that make it all happen. She believes in hard work, grabbing hold of opportunities, but most of all, walking by faith and knowing that God is just good!

Needless to say, she seized this amazing opportunity to create a fun learning environment for the girls in and around Somerset West, Strand & Gordon’s Bay. An environment where they can learn about themselves and the basics of how to present themselves to the world with confidence!

About Karin Fourie

Karin is the proud mother of 3 children and has 3 beautiful granddaughters.

She is passionate about entrepreneurship, education, and empowering women and children. After completing her BA with a major in Psychology at the University of Pretoria she worked in HR, From where she then joined a company teaching study techniques to teens and adults on how to improve reading and comprehension.

Karin was the proud founder of her own packaging business.

They as a family later moved to Northern Virginia in the US, where she became a Trauma Counsellor supporting women and children for many years.
Before their return to South Africa, she worked at an Elementary School as a substitute teacher.

Back in South Africa she ventured into the beauty industry.

She loves swimming, gardening, fashion & music.

She is passionate about Girl-School and looking forward to playing her part in helping young girls discover the unique inner and outer beauty that God so lovingly gave them.

What She Will Learn

Our Girl-School course is presented in a happy, FUN and safe environment that will positively impact your daughter’s development. This course will empower her with everyday life and behaviour tools, ideally put together to suit her age and level of understanding, presented by a handpicked, skilled Girl-School coach.

Your daughter will learn:

The girls will each partake in a practical skin-care lesson on the day, it is so much fun! This is a true favourite amongst the girls as they love this special pamper time!

Our Courses

Girl-School

Sugar and spice, and all things nice; That’s what little girls are made of. Yet, there are thorns and thistles with hits and misses, they need loving guidance to navigate their way through this big world. Girl-School is designed for young girls from Gr 1 – 3 as a practical, FUN foundation for personal grooming, self-esteem and etiquette.

Girl-School Tween

From ribbons and curls of little girls to Teens with make-up and ripped jeans, Tweens fill the space from girly to grace, and do so without effort… it seems. Girl-School Tween is designed for Grade 4-7 girls to learn the ins and outs of first impressions, how to make a positive impact on herself and others, personal grooming, healthy friendships, and to navigate the amazing changes she is going through.

Girl-School Teen

Towels on floors and slamming doors could be in store for teenage girls. Girl-School Teen is presented to young ladies from Grade 8 – 11, empowering them with the skills required to navigate relationships with themselves and others, focussing on finishing and etiquette to make them well-rounded individuals and flourishing inside and out.

Girl-School Tween

Born and raised in Johannesburg as the youngest daughter of two, this 26 year old’s parents are still happily married after 36 years. Chené Jones matriculated in 2013.

While studying psychology at North West Univerity, her heart yearned for more, where she starting working for a local church in Potchefstroom. She served for 5 years on the leadership and staff team as the service coordinator and pioneered the girls ministry on campus.

She then transitioned to studying Ministry and Leadership through Oral Roberts University in the USA, where she will graduating with honors in April 2022.

She is a qualified Image Consultant, currently residing in Somerset West and working at The South African Image Academy as the Academy Queen / Course Coordinator / Success Coach.

She loves running, taking hikes in the mountains and watching sunsets. As much as she loves making lists and having structure, she also loves the creativity of theatre and live music.

She loves God and believes His word is the highest authority over her life. She has a passion for girls, seeing them stepping into their God given talents, abilities and identity – calling out their gold and potential.

Teacher Michaela

Girl-School

As the youngest of three children, Michaela Doubell is the somewhat delayed final chapter to the childrens’ book of her parents, still happily married after 32 years. Raised in a loving home in the Helderberg , this 20 year old spent her highschool years in Stellenbosch, where she matriculated from Bloemhof in 2020.

After school she did her internship at the SA Image Academy, where she qualified cum laude as an Image Consultant. Due to her servant heart and her ablilily to see the gap and fill it, she was immediately appointed as Aletté Wincklers’ Wing Woman.

This dynamo keeps herself busy with an aray of activities. She loves fashion, sport and her family. She’s a nature-lover who savors a great sunset. She also loves music and is a total foody, for both presentation and taste.

She loves working with children and assisted as a part time au pair for the 4 Winckler children. She is particularly passionate about young girls and loves to see their inner beauty shine through.

She loves Jesus and His word. She lives a life of integrity and believes in hosting the Holy Spirit well.
